deserted – the beauty of emptiness
The palace gardens of Versailles, a golf course and a slightly different sports ground. With no one around, except for one, the viewer. This serie shows you temporarily lonely places – their aesthetics, composition and mood. The landscapes may seem familiar but in the same way bizarre or surreal. Loneliness has changed them. That makes them vary from the picture that creates our imagination. These photographs show moments which develop their very own beauty apart from habituality. At other times living places: deserted, lonely, uncommitted or uninhabited. And that is exactly why it is in its purest form.
